Welcome! Bienvenue! Welcome! Since its inception, our festival has been committed to placing nature, which gives us life, at the centre of its exhibitions. Photographic narratives between beauty, humanistic reflection, anger and despair.

Here you will find the themes of the 2026 festival and an introduction to the photographers.

The photography project by schools in Morbihan in Brittany and Lower Austria, the exhibition ‘Our World is Beautiful’, which honours the winners of the CEWE photo competition, the photographs of professional photographers from Lower Austria, and the special exhibition 450 Years of Backhaus Annamühle by Christoph Künne.

Culture of solidarity

Under the guiding theme Culture of Solidarity, our collaboration with festival partners Garten Tulln – where we are showcasing the CEWE exhibition ‘Our World is Beautiful’ – and Bratislava Month of Photography will continue in 2026. A new addition is the partnership with the Schütz Art Museum in Engelhartszell, where we will be showcasing the Global Peace Photo Award. And Dieter Bornemann’s work “Aufgegessen!” is touring half of Austria.
