CULTURE OF SOLIDARITY

Culture of Solidarity serves as the common thread for those exhibition collaborations that the festival presents outside Baden – in Tulln, in Bratislava, and this year with the exhibition “Aufgegessen!” also in Weissensee, Zell an der Pram, St. Martin near Graz, and in Klagenfurt.

The dates are:
15 May – October 2026: Open-air exhibition “Aufgegessen!” in the permaculture garden at the Strandhotel Weissensee in Carinthia
30 May – 28 June 2026: Exhibition & book presentation at Zell an der Pram Castle, Upper Austria
8 July – 25 August 2026: Exhibition & book presentation at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Bratislava
31 August – 11 September 2026: Exhibition & book presentation at the Bildungshaus Schloss St. Martin in Graz
25 September – 16 October 2026: Exhibition & book presentation at Bildungshaus Schloss Krastowitz, Klagenfurt

In November, the festival will show three exhibitions as part of the European Month of Photography (EMOP) in Bratislava: Cig Harvey, Sir Don McCullin, and Josh Edgoose.

The Global Peace Photo Award will be exhibited at the Schütz Art Museum in Engelhartszell this year. Inspired by the 1911 Nobel Peace Prize laureates Alfred Fried and Tobias Asser, the award honors and promotes photographers from around the world whose images capture humanity’s pursuit of a peaceful world and the search for beauty and goodness in our lives.

At Garten Tulln, we are presenting the 40-images of the exhibition “Our World is Beautiful.” The photographs submitted to the CEWE Photo Award not only showcase the beauty of the world but also its fragile and worthy-of-protection aspects. With 656.738 images from 153 countries the CEWE Photo Award is the largest photography competition in the world.
