Photographers and Exhibitions 2024
NATURAL HERITAGE The programme of the 2024 festival is an appeal to the world that has long been inscribed in the heart of our festival, because it is our duty to preserve the poetry of creation for our children. The festival therefore takes a stand on the fundamental issues of urbanisation, biodiversity, natural resources, pollution or global warming and tries – with the help of images – to at least provide food for thought. This is why, in our seventh festival year, we are showing the work of the great masters of environmental photography. Photographers from 15 countries are guests in Baden: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Ivory Coast, England, France, Iran, Italy, Japan, Russia, Switzerland, South Africa and the USA: Nazli Abbaspour, Evgenia Arbugaeva, Luigi Caputo, Yasuhoshi Chiba, Joana Choumali, Michel Comte, David Doubilet and Jennifer Hayes, Hans Hass, Nadia Ferroukhi, Sacha Goldberger, Ina Künne, Richard Ladkani, Lucas Lenci, Luca Locatelli, Pascal Maitre, Gerald Mansberger and Markus Eisl, Beth Moon, Martin Parr, Maxime Riché, Rudolf Sailer, Sebastião Salgado, Alain Schroeder, Norbert Span, Vee Speers, Brent Stirton, Lorraine Turci, David Turnley, Peter Turnley and Cássio Vasconcellos.
Plus: The photo project of the Morbihan schools in Brittany and Lower Austria, the photografiers of the Lower Austrian professional photographers and the exhibition „Our World is Beautiful“, which honours all the winners of the CEWE photo competition.
