Directed by Richard Ladkani and co-produced by Juma Xipaia and Leonardo DiCaprio, the film YANUNI follows indigenous leader Juma Xipaia in her fight to protect the Amazon rainforest. Together with her husband Hugo Loss, a ranger who leads high-risk missions against illegal gold mining, Juma navigates politics, threats, and impending motherhood—all while paying the personal price of resistance.
