Manon Lanjouère

Bleu Glacé, lexicon of Icelandic Landscapes

© Shasha Marro

Manon Lanjouère lives and works in Paris, where she completed her studies at the École des Gobelins in 2017. Guided by her reading, she strives to present her own interpretation of the world in an attempt to decode the interactions between man and his environment. Bleu glacé: Lexicon of Icelandic Landscapes is to be read as a scientific survey that analyses and synthetically reconstructs Icelandic landscapes. The project is thus intended as an alternative to mass tourism; a new experience offering another way of travelling within these landscapes recomposed in the studio.

Festival director Lois Lammerhuber talks about Manon Lanjouère’s exhibition
