World premiere presentation of the deepest ever drilled core in Europe. Following the festival theme Hymn to the Earth, this geological treasure worth 70 million euros (that’s how much it cost to explore such depths) will be exhibited in the Visitor Center for four months. After the end of the Festival it will be put back into the ground at the OMV site in Gänserndorf. By the way: The head of the drilling project, Hermann Spörker, comes from Baden.
