The Photographers of the festival

For the third time in a row, Festival Director Lois Lammerhuber invited all participating photographers to create an exhibition together, each with just one image. The theme in 2019 was „50 Years Rosarium“ and in 2020 „Ludwig van Beethoven‘s 250th Birthday“. On the occasion of the “Year of Biodiversity” and also to pay due respect to Jacques Rocher‘s „Plant for the Planet“ project, which achieved last year its goal of planting 100 million trees, this year the photographers were asked to choose the picture of a tree they like best. The tree as a symbol of life and a peaceful future combined with a plea for tolerance and togetherness, borne by a humanist spirit.
