Landesinnung der Berufsfotografen Niederösterreich

Provocative statements, admittedly, but justified, 100 years after the introduction of female suffrage in Austria. Much of what was unthinkable several decades ago has long become a reality. Women have all the opportunities, even if men sometimes stand in their way. They want to leave traditional role models behind and aim for genuine equality. Taking exceptional, often little known, women as examples, 25 photographers of the Landesinnung der Berufsfotografen Niederösterreich will portray female personalities – especially from the fields of art, culture, the economy and sports – and honour them vicariously for all women in Austria.
