In cooperation with KINO BADEN im Herzoghof,the Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo invites you to watch the film Space to Relax: When Thomas Pesquet, astronaut for the European Space Agency ESA, shared his adventure in the social networks, he charmed millions. From November 2016 to June 2017, the 41-year-old spent around six months on board of the International Space Station ISS. During his stay he conducted scientific studies and maintenance work on the station as well as space walks. During his mission the public got to know the astronaut as extraordinary photographer: “On the space ship I was in the best possible spot to view Earth”, Thomas Pesquet enthused – “its beauty and all its treasures, but also its vulnerability”.
